What is the process involved to have a temporary social worker come to our facility/agency?

It all starts with a phone call (952-432-0571) or email to TempSocialWork.com. We will discuss your unique situation with you. A time will be arranged to sign a contract with TempSocialWork.com if you do not have one on file. TempSocialWork.com will match a social worker to your situation and he/she will begin on the date that you choose.

How much does it cost?

The rates for temporary social workers vary depending on the setting. Our rates are very competitive, and are a cost effective way to prevent burnout of other social workers, and to prevent potential fines if facilities are out of compliance with paperwork.

Do you have social workers that can start immediately?

Yes, in most cases there is a social worker available immediately. He/She would begin as soon as the contract is in place.

I do not need a fulltime social worker, are there part-time social workers available?

Yes, TempSocialWork.com will work with you to match a social worker to the number of hours you need, as well as the schedule. For example, many facilities would like the social worker to cover care conferences to “free up” the other social worker’s time. This can be accommodated.

Can I meet the social worker before he/she is assigned to my site?

Yes, if you would like the opportunity to meet the social worker ahead of time, this can be arranged. This meeting is provided free of charge.

What if the social worker that was sent isn’t working out?

We try our best to match your situation with the best social worker for the job, but sometimes it doesn’t always work (it is rare though!). We will work with you to provide a substitute. You will find our customer service excellent!

What if I want to hire the social worker from TempSocialWork.com?

The temp-to-hire situation is addressed in the contract you sign with TempSocialWork.com. There is a fee assessed in this situation.

The State Health Department is due to come anytime, do you have someone that can help get us ready as far as social services?

Yes, please see the additional services page. TempSocialWork.com social workers have been through state surveys before and can come in and conduct a “Survey Readiness” assessment including chart audits, employee and resident knowledge of resident rights, etc. We also provide inservices as needed.
