Youth Engagement Specialist – Residential Group Homes
Pay: $27–$31/hour
Location: St. Paul & Minneapolis, MN
Schedule: Flexible, 25–40 hours/week based on need

Position Overview
Temp Social Work is hiring Youth Engagement Specialists to support youth ages 14–18+ in residential group homes located in St. Paul and Minneapolis.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with youth and is looking for a flexible schedule! Responsibilities include providing a safe and supportive environment, engaging youth in activities, assisting with daily routines, offering positive guidance, and providing crisis support when needed.
Paid training is provided!
Schedule
Shifts vary weekly based on staffing needs. Available shifts include:
7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Awake Overnight)
Typically, 25–40 hours per week are available, with occasional overtime opportunities. Hours are not guaranteed and will fluctuate based on need.
Qualifications
Associate degree OR two years of experience working directly with youth (or equivalent combination).
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Ability to obtain First Aid/CPR certification within six months.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with youth experiencing challenging behaviors.
Background in social work, psychology, human services, or residential care preferred.
